What is a learning journey?
Learning Journeys are essentially guided field trips to visit innovative educators, programs, schools, and practitioners in our region. These trips are open to anyone, and generally take place during the school-day; this enables us to see schools, programs, and practitioners in action.
Why go on a journey?
These field trips and experiences allow educators and other interested folks to see what innovative practice in schools actually looks like. These events offer participants the ability to see a school in action, talk to students, and engage with teachers in the real-time context of innovative practice. These experiences also offer the opportunity to meet with school leaders and change agents as they navigate the path of innovative practice in their schools.
